Rachel Burke

Instructor
Ballet, Pointe
Rachel Ann Burke is a Cambridge native. She received her early training under Larissa Luvisichuk in the Vaganova method then went on to study at Boston Ballet and Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. She also spent summers at American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, and Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet.  Following her early education she went on to receive her B.F.A in Dance and Ballet Pedigogy  from The Boston Conservatory under partial scholarship.
Rachel has been teaching Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes for 14 years. She also enjoys teaching pointe and older level dancers. To share her knowledge and passion for dance in its athleticism and its artistic expressions. 
Since then she has danced with various companies and choreographers in the Boston area including Contrapose Dance, Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre, works by Gino de Marco, Tony Williams, and David Drummond. Rachel is excited and honored to be dancing with North Atlantic Dance Theatre. She is also thrilled to be back teaching at Ballet Arts Centre of Winchester.
