Ballet Arts Centre was founded in 1990 with the goal of offering the surrounding area a unique, quality "Program of Dance" designed to meet the needs of a wide range of students of varying ages and levels. In the years since, the school has become an established and integral part of the community we serve, drawing a student population from as many as ten greater Boston cities and towns.

Our program is based on the commitment to provide the highest quality of instruction from an exceptional faculty, trained not only as dancers, but as educators able to address the needs of each individual student. Our aim is to develop well-rounded dancers by stressing the study of Ballet - the foundation of all dance forms - while also offering the more contemporary styles of jazz, tap, and modern dance. The program is designed to offer each student a secure foundation from which to advance, and progressive levels based on a graded syllabus, which assures a high standard of training.

While some students choose to dance as a form of recreation or self expression, others may wish to pursue dance in their higher education or as a career.

Whether chosen simply as a hobby or as a serious discipline, BAC is dedicated to creating an atmosphere which fosters self-esteem, discipline, and positive influence, all of which can be carried into many other aspects of a student's life. At BAC we believe that dancing provides a feeling of attainment and an expression of joy that is fundamental to the learning experience of every student who walks through our door.
