Pre-Professional Training Program Auditions for 2018-2019 Dance Year
Saturday, May 19th at BAC Studios
Ages 8 to 10 ... 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Ages 11 to 13 ... 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Ages 14 and Up ... 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
No Audition Fee. There is an Annual Fee if you are accepted into the program.
This program is run subject to sufficient enrollment.
Auditions are open to all BAC serious dance students ages 8 and up* who wish to enhance their commitment and pursue their dance training at a more intensive level. The program includes performance opportunities, additional classes, workshops, and master classes.
(*Please be aware that this is a “selective” audition process. Not all students will be eligible for this program. Students and parents should have an understanding that part of the audition process is acceptance that there is a “readiness” required by students being admitted. We encourage all students to strive positively for their personal goals and understand that a dancer’s training is an on-going process, attained only by continued hard work and dedication.)
About BAC's Pre-Professional Training Program
BAC's preprofessional training program provides dedicated students ages 8 and up with an opportunity to pursue their dance training at a more serious level by offering additional classes, workshops, master classes, and performances throughout the dance year. Students are chosen by audition annually, and must demonstrate a readiness in their technical ability and acquired skill. The students intensify their dance training by committing to a required number of classes per week, as well as additional classes, rehearsals, activities, and performances.
