Elle FischelliInstructor
Jazz, Children's Work Elle Fischelli grew up in Southwest Florida but began her serious dance training when she moved near Dallas, Texas as a teen. Her journey in dance began primarily with classical ballet, and she was a member of the pre-professional performance company, Plano Metropolitan Ballet, before continuing on to pursue dance in academia. Elle received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography at the University of North Texas where she served as Dance Ambassador for UNT's College of Arts and Sciences. Highlights of her time at UNT involve learning from and performing repertory by guest artists including but not limited to Bill Evans, Black Label Movement, Contra-Tiempo, Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, Diavolo, and Doug Varone and Dancers. She also had the opportunity to study and perform original works at multiple American College Dance Association conferences, and attended summer intensives with renowned artists such as Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Although ballet remains her first love, Elle is equally skilled in modern dance, and enjoys teaching numerous additional styles from improvisation and partnering to contemporary, lyrical, and jazz. Elle is passionate about dance education and fostering the joy and love for dance in her students while prioritizing technique and functional movement. She is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, a qualified TotalBarre instructor, and is currently working on her apprenticeship to become a certified Pilates instructor. BAC is excited to welcome Elle to the faculty in 2019.
