2024 Emersion Spring Showcase
"Winter + Spring"

Ballet Arts Centre's Pre-Professional Emersion Dance Company,
Apprentices, and Junior Company will present works choreographed by Lorraine Chapman.

Lorraine Chapman is an award-winning choreographer whose work has been supported by New England Foundation for the Arts, The Boston Foundation, Boston Dance Alliance, Boston Center for the Arts, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.  She has choreographed "Winter + Spring" with support from BAC Emersion dancers.
 
Emersion is BAC's accelerated Pre-Professional training program. "Winter + Spring" will be performed by members of BAC's Emersion Dance Company, Apprentices, and Junior Company.  An audition for Emersion is held annually (2024-25 audition details coming soon).

An informal showing of "Winter +Spring" will also be performed by BAC Emersion students on March 24th in Portland, Maine with Casco Bay Movers Dance Studio as part of our ongoing Dance Unites collaboration.
