offers several opportunities for students wishing to enhance their training by performing throughout the dance year.

Ballet Arts Centre Performing Theatre Company
Ballet Arts Centre Performing Theatre Company was established in the year 2000 and affords advanced students the opportunity to perform in a serious environment with professional dancers. Students perform with the company by invitation. BAC Performing Theater Company dancers have participated in venues such as The Choreographers Workshop at Green Street Studios in Cambridge in 2001, Lorraine Chapman’s “The Company” at the Dance Complex in Cambridge in 2002 and in their very own version of The Nutcracker each year since the company’s inception.

Nutcracker Performances
Auditions are held annually in September for dancers ages 7 and up who wish to perform in Company performances of the Nutcracker in December. Rehearsals meet primarily on weekends for a nine-week period. Commitment to these rehearsals is essential for all wishing to take part. There is a participation fee for students accepted and auditions are open to all dancers from all schools.

Annual Spring Performance
Our Spring Performance is open to all BAC students. Participation, although not mandatory, is greatly encouraged. The performance takes place in Winchester and a costume fee for each class is due annually.
